Hemlock Vial
Hemlock
From the Incantatrix Poison Greenhouse Potion Collection
A glass vial containing a preserved white hemlock bloom, standing upright above a bed of soft woodland moss.
A small moth charm hangs delicately from the cork, as if drawn to the flower. The cork is sealed with marbled wax in shades of cream and green, stamped with a sprig of hemlock.
Historically known as Conium maculatum, hemlock has a long and notorious past. Once used in ancient Greece as a method of execution, it remains one of the most iconic poisons in the apothecary’s cabinet.
The hand-illustrated label is styled after antique botanical specimens, with clean lines and careful renderings of the hemlock’s flowers and finely divided leaves.
All Incantatrix Apothecary potions, ingredients and products are handmade, home-brewed and crafted with care.
