Magnetic Stirring Potions FAQ

What are Magnetic Stirring Potions?

These potion bottles contain a small magnet, and when used with a magnetic stirrer pad, they swirl all on their own.

I've purchased a magnetic stirring potion from you, and it's not swirling on it's own?

These bottles are just magnetic stirring ready, and require the magnetic stirrer pad to work correctly, but they can still be shaken by hand just like our normal potion bottles.

Do you also sell the magnetic stirrer pads?

No, these must be purchased separately and are available from online stores. We purchased ours from Amazon. We recommend purchasing one that can reach speeds of at least 2000 rpm. We have purchased two so far, one was £24 the other was £35 they both work the same. These pads can be hidden in empty boxes that look like books, or you can drape some decorative fabric over the pad so they look fantastic on display.

I've purchased bottles from you before, can I convert these into magnetic stirring bottles.

No, unfortunately all of our bottles are well sealed and they need to contain the magnet to self swirl.

When the bottle is not on the stirring pad, will I see the magnet at the bottom of the bottle? 

Possibly, depending on the design of the bottle the magnet may be hidden by decoration on the bottle. The magnet is about the size of a headache tablet and usually also gets covered in the mica powder in the bottle so doesn't really stand out that much when displayed on the shelf.

Why do you only make magnetic versions of some bottles?

All of our potion bottles can still be shaken by hand. In bottles where the magnet cannot be seen at the bottom, we may as well place magnets in all the bottles so they can be used for both shaking and magnetic stirring.

If your never going to use a magnetic stirrer you don't want to see a magnet sitting at the bottom of the bottle. These are the bottles we make two versions.

Will you be making magnetic stirring bottles for all your designs? 

This depends on the bottle in question, if these bottles are popular we hope to release some of our older designs as self swirl, but some bottles just aren't suitable for the magnet at all.
