FAQ

Why do you not ship to my country?

If you are based in the EU, then your order needs to go through our Etsy store. This is due to EU tax laws, it means you are charged sales tax at checkout so you don't have to worry about any unexpected sales tax, when you take delivery. Unless your order is above €150 then you will not be charged this sales tax at checkout, but you will be charged when you take delivery.

On our site, we are unable to process this tax.

Please note, there are a few EU countries we don't ship to due to regulations.

If you receive the message that we don't ship to your country and your country is not in the EU. Then unfortunately shipping to your country is unavailable. 

Why is the international postage so expensive? 

Glass bottles filled with liquid are quite heavy, they also have to be securely packed. All this adds to the overall weight, increasing shipping costs. We ship world-wide with Royal Mail and UPS. Royal Mail is the cheapest option, but is limited to a package size of 2KG (about 3-4 potions depending on size) If checkout is only giving you the UPS option, you may want to try removing a bottle from your order if the UPS cost is a problem. If you are buying via UPS this is not only the quickest option, but it allows you to add more to your cart without increasing postage costs. Up to around 7-9 bottles (again depending on size). Do you offer discounts if I buy multiple items?

We pride ourselves on offering affordable high-quality potions. All of our potions and ingredients are handmade by us - a lot of love and care goes into each and every one. 

The time that it takes to make our potions, as well as our competitive pricing means we are unable to offer discounts at this time. 

Do you accept custom orders? 

Unfortunately, we are not currently offering our custom order service. With just the two of us making and shipping every potion bottle, we're very limited on time these days. 

What are your lead times?

We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible - with the max lead time being 3 working days, but this may be slightly longer after restocks.

My international order seems to be delayed? Where is my order?

If your order has been dispatched via Royal Mail international, delivery should take around 7-10 working days after we dispatch your order. If this time has past and it looks like your package is not moving, it is possible that the package is undergoing inspection. Because of the nature of the contents of the packages, export officials sometimes class the items as being prohibited and unsafe. All this does is cause a delay to the delivery. We have never had a package destroyed or returned to us, they have always made there way to the customer.

Your order will only be deemed as lost by Royal Mail after 31 working days after we have dispatched your order. After this time we are able to claim for the lost package and dispatch a replacement for you. Please contact us if this time scale has past.
